From Canaan Heights, Clarendon, Jamaica, JAHDON has emerged as a distinctive voice in reggae music and a proud Broomie Ambassador. Committed to authentic storytelling, he founded Look Ya Noww Entertainment and began building a catalogue rooted in culture, consciousness, and self-expression.

 

His breakthrough came with “Congo Bongo” and the Congo Bongo EP, earning support from Elise Kelly, Ron Muschette, and Mutabaruka. In 2020, his debut album 369 earned him the title “Reggae Music's Future Messenger” from the Jamaica Gleaner, while Reggaeville praised the project as a promising debut.

 

Following his sophomore album i in 2022 and the launch of the Broomie™ brand in 2023, JAHDON enters 2026 with “Melanin Heir” and the bonus instrumental “Born Rich,” continuing his growth as one of reggae's emerging independent artists.

In July 2026 he released "Irony" is a conscious dancehall record that explores the tension between perception and reality through thought-provoking storytelling.
